This project heavily influenced the design of my carpet project, as the concept for this design was also Merlot. The conceptual residents living in this loft are Wine sommeliers moving to Vancouver.
As the users love to host wine tasting parties , it was imperative that enough space was given for guests to roam comfortably on the main floor
This staircase, aside from being wine storage, follows a circadian rhythm. it glows with a blue tone in the mornings to help you wake up and transition to the daily activities, and it glows with a warmer tone at night to help you transition to the sleeping areas.
We have also provided a Staircase that doubles as a temperature controlled wine room.
